Visiting Nefertiti at Neues Museum in Berlin

For different reasons I had to delay for too long my anticipated trip to Berlin. A month ago I was finally able to fly to the German capital. It was worth waiting for. The city I had imagined had nothing to envy of the real Berlin. Of everything I saw and experienced during those days, I can’t forget the visit to the Neues Museum and its bust of Nefertiti. Ever since I saw it in a textbook as a child, that face has stuck with me, and seeing it now from just a few centimetres away was the finishing touch on one of the best trips of my life.
