As I leave Turin, I’m desperate to go back. It was a short trip, which means there’s still plenty for me to see and explore. As I sit on the plane, listening to the conversations of other passengers and the Italian intonation of their voices, I’m confident I’ll achieve the goal I set myself during my visit: to learn the language so I can go back without having to rely on my rudimentary English.
