My hotel was right near Hayarkon, the Central Park of Tel Aviv, so every afternoon ended with a long stroll through the park. It’s the perfect place for taking the pulse of this fascinating city. While I was waiting for the sun to set, I sat on a bench and watched the many groups of young people with their Frisbees, the couples with children, others walking their dogs.… At one with my surroundings, I felt like just one more Tel Aviv native.
